Please be aware that I did not set the lecture time.
I hate to get up at 6 aclock in the morning as much as you do.
3. Some students complained about the attendance credits.
I want to reminder you that if you do not want to attend the lectures and at the same time do not want to lose credits, there are plenty of extra credit problems that you can solve: to get 10% grade, you only have to solve 20 extra problems correctly. If you can not solve these problems, you should probably attend the lectures anyway.

Below is the section about exams in the syllabus.
Exams:
Midterms: There will be three eighty-minute exams during lecture time. Each exam will focus on material from the three or four weeks prior to the week of the exam but may include earlier material as well. Sample problems from exams from previous semesters will be posted on the course website and will be discussed in the Wednesday workshops before each exam. One of three midterms will be dropped.
Final: there will be a two-hour final. The final exam will be comprehensive.
Exam policy:
Students must not miss the final exam.
