Science and Computers II -- PHY300
Projects
For your project I would like to see at least 10 pages or so of work. You may
want to construct this as a powerpoint/pdf presentation so you can
give a talk on it at the end of the semester.
This page count can include lines of python code as
necessary. You will probably want to include a
an essay/key points component as well as numerical/graphical output
from your code. Its up to you as to the balance between
code related work and writing as I realize some of you have
stronger programming backgrounds than others.
Demonstrating a clear understanding of the science and good
presentation skills will be worth as much as skill in constructing
any new code.
VERY IMPORTANT:
You need to confirm a title/topic with me by Thursday 22nd March.
Here
are a few suggestions which I will add to as we go along.
You should aim to have your work ready for presentation by the
second to last week of classes
(final writeups will be due after classes finish).
