Projects

For your project I would like to see at least 10 pages or so of work. You may want to construct this as a powerpoint/pdf presentation so you can give a talk on it at the end of the semester. This page count can include lines of python code as necessary. You will probably want to include a an essay/key points component as well as numerical/graphical output from your code. Its up to you as to the balance between code related work and writing as I realize some of you have stronger programming backgrounds than others.

Demonstrating a clear understanding of the science and good presentation skills will be worth as much as skill in constructing any new code. Here are a few suggestions which I will add to as we go along.

You should aim to have your work ready for presentation by the week after Thanksgiving (final writeups will be due after classes finish).
