Date: September 4-6, 2006
Location: Building 40-SS-D01, CERN

The goal of the LHC Alignment Workshop to provide a forum to share ideas and information which may be brought to bear on the issues related to alignment of detectors, with particular emphasis on tracking detectors. The general program of the workshop will highlight four main areas:

Discussion of mathematical and statistical methods as they apply to alignment
Lessons from previous experiments
Alignment plans for LHC experiments, both hardware & software
Constants management (storage & retrieval), software-enabling tools, tools for simulating misalignments, etc

VRVS: The Workshop will be, in principle, accessible via VRVS, but we can not guarantee to keep it active all the time for the reasons of efficiency of the meeting in which direct discussions are assumed to play a crucial role
